Marcus Ambrose free agent

Ambrose has anounced that his contract with JTG will be cut short by a year at the end of the season, I will be a free agent, he has said he will think about his future over the next few days saying he feels like he has unfinished buisnes in Nascar but also stated coming back to Australia to drive V8 supercars was an option!

Hi Brian I herd this yesterday, how old would Marcos be? Bit of luck those morons at Ford Australia will assist in getting him back into a Falcon if not he would be a top replacment for richo or dumbrell but I think he still has ties to SBR

    Mark & Brian,
If this is the case and he did return to Australia, it would be an absolute crime if someone with his experience was not offered a drive with Ford an left to go to the dark side, however I think someone like James Moffatt or Luke Youden would be in line for full time drives with a factory team. One would assume that SBR would love to have him back given the chance. I I feel the Ford supporters would love to have him back into the fold as well.

I think you are all dreaming and Marcos will stay in the states and drive the # 9 red ford ( a famous colour and number here) for Richaerd Petty Motorsports. It would be nice to see him back but he has unfinished business in the states and it would be nice to do it in a Ford. They have changed the rules locally however and if another guest drive opens up there shouldn't be the dramas that we had last year at Sydney.
    Cheers

Tim Slade may well be sporting No. 47 (Ambrose's number in the US) for a reason...

But he'll be staying in the States I think.

Hay @Mark Pullen, Slades #47 was picked because thats the year James Rosenberg was born, he owns the REC that Slade is driving under, Slade picked the number as a suprise for him

I don't think any team would want to get him for 1 or 2 races this year if he wants to race V8's again he should just come back permanetly
