Frosty's Championship

Of course being a loyal Ford supporter you always support and have high hopes for the Ford drivers, however these can be seen as ambitious. I was talking to people the other day and they said it is a two horse race, however I believe Frosty is well and truly in with a chance, and should be classed as still one of the favorites with the two drivers in front of him, especially considering that Team Vodafone have had some problems in the reliability department of late with car #1, and James Courtney and Jim Beam racing seem to not have front running pace right at the moment. I have put together the following to represent the results for the remaining rounds after Bathurst to show how realistic it is to believe that FPR and Frosty can win this championship.

2009 Results: (Round Points)
Gold Coast:
James Courtney: 148.5
Jamie Whincup: 129
MARK WINTERBOTTOM: 288

Tasmania:
James Courtney: 15
Jamie Whincup: 240
MARK WINTERBOTTOM: 177

Sandown:
James Courtney: 228
Jamie Whincup: 231
MARK WINTERBOTTOM: 126

Sydney:
James Courtney: 201
Jamie Whincup: 174
MARK WINTERBOTTOM: 267

Total:
James Courtney: 592.5
Jamie Whincup: 774
MARK WINTERBOTTOM: 858

If these figures were used to base the rest of the year off Mark Winterbottom narrowly wins this championship.

GO FPR 2010.

Mathematical chance but will need a lil luck to go his way, the Team had the pace for a 1, 2 lock out in race 1 and 2 but things went south for the team no question the car is where it needs to be and Frosty is operating at a high level if not this year next for sure!

Frosty has the speed and thr tenacity. It just takes one small piece of bad luck to bring it undone. I believe the best is yet to come from him.

still think he has a chance and frosty wont give up untill the last second and neither will fpr just seems fpr has bad luck if it wasnt for that they would be a lot closer than they are now so lets hope frosry can knock buttercup off for the championship

It'd be nice to see Frosty win the championship but it's not very likely. Of course that won't stop team FPR or me from cheering them on.
