Davo is showing up his team mate once again. And good on him,i think he is in the top 5 drivers in the comp. Hopefully this will get frosty going because he is in a slump at the moment.

i totolly agree i think davo is out to prove his worth at fpr.I think he has got the aggression to go that bit harder where frosty is not as aggressive a driver which does cost him a top spot. Love him or hate him i think thats what makes whincup such a good driver he is willing to do what it takes to get in front. I still think the best drive in race 1 at barbagello was the giz really showed some balls.

What a very disappointing weekend for FPR at Wanneroo with Will's third in the first race the only highlight. For the rest of the weekend FPR where midfield runners at best.
Agree Greg, Giz's race from 16th to 4th was the highlight drive of the first race.
Starting to look like another disappointing year for the team and more ammunition for teh Holden crowd. And here i was thinking they were the Ford Factory Team.

This is the first time since Frosty joined FPR that Car 6 has led Car 5 in Championship points. Davo's proving a very good signing thus far.
Frosty and FPR will find form, don't worry. But the 2011 championship seems a stretch at this point. FPR isn't as consistent as they needed to be, and neither are any of the other Ford teams. This is where we miss JC in the DJR/888 Falcon, it was the form car last year - developed, reliable, and quick on Sprint tyres. And Holden's best off-season signing at this point is Adrian Burgess, not JC.
As expected, 888 improved their reliability issues and both Whincup and Lowndes are in races of their own at this point. Sigh. Time to watch my 2008 Highlights DVD when FPR had some consistently great performances. I still won't give up hope for 2011 though.

Can't beat confidence eh Matt???? Still a long season to go and I don't know if you have spotted them, but there are chinks in Whincups armour. He is human and does make mistakes and it will be interesting to see who Vodafail pair up at the enduros. I personally think that FPR have one of the strongest enduro pairings going round. Still a long way to go. Next round at Winton which should be a cracker. Have faith it's not over by a long shot!

Well done Davo , im very sure that your first race win with FPR is not too far away .

For some unknown reason i cannot add to the discussion after this one re the Winton round nor can i add a new discussion so i shall vent my anger here. The FPR results at Winton were abysmal to say the very least and it's about time someone took responsibility for this especially after 2 test days last week. About the only good thing that happened was Courtney , the reigning champion had a miserable round again for the opposition. The fish is rotting from the head and Tim Edwards needs to go or get a crew around him that does not change from race to race. They took an awful long time to realise Richo was holding them back and it's happening again. It's the Ford factory team for heavens sake.
I cannot lay the blame with the drivers they are doing their best but come on , sort this out and give us something to cheer about otherwise that fool Simon Mac from the red side may have only been a year out with his prediction of Ford doom and gloom. The only thing i can say is Ford fans are loyal unlike the other mob and it's a good job or FPR wouldn't have any left.
Go Frosty & Davo lets make Darwin a turnaround in fortunes and Tim go hard or go home.
