Ford Performance Racing (FPR) is getting ready for the drive north for next week’s Gold Coast 600 event at Surfers Paradise where the team will be joined by all-star international trio Will Power, Mika Salo and Christian Klien.
The custom-spec race suits for the experienced trio are being loaded ready for next week’s tests at Queensland Raceway where all 28 international drivers in the field will get to sample V8 Supercar machinery before hitting the streets of Surfers on Friday for the first of four practice sessions.
The GC600 is scheduled for 21-23 October and includes a Top 10 Shootout and two 102-lap races around the tight and challenging 2.98-kilometre street track.
